NFL Offensive Tackle Eugene Monroe Retires Over Fear of CTE

Eugene Monroe has become the latest pro football player to retire over fears of CTE, a degenerative brain disease found in athletes with histories of head trauma. The 29-year-old was released by the Baltimore Ravens in June, but until then was widely acknowledged as a solid starting offensive tackle.
