so, what phone/device did you backup?
the nexus 6 is a solid device, so if you purchased it new and its acting up AFTER a backup from another device, i can see how you may have issues.
a factory reset is absolutely recommended. also contacting the dev to ask what is and is not backed up would also shed some light.
