The NFL is promising $10 million over the next five years to fund a new coalition of organizations to prevent sexual violence. The league says its mission is to end sexual violence in one generation. Three major organizations have teamed up with the NFL to create the collaborative initiative. In a statement NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said, "We are pleased to help drive real change, support innovative programs and make significant and lasting headway in combatting sexual violence."
