Take a look at this boom cylinder on my friends Volvo excavator. Noticed it was starting to drift and was also making noise while raising. Pulled it apart on the machine and was surprised to see the seals/packing this bad! Our next question is how concerned should we be about the missing material? Will the tank screen and filter catch all of this?
