Alarm on V10

So my question is......
The stock alarm seems to be not reliable. A few times I have woke up to it not going off, when it should have been. Another time it didn't go off until I pick up the phone and turned on the screen. Sometimes I swear it's worked for a while, but eventually goes off on its own. Like the systems process turns it off if I don't hit snooze or dismiss soon enough. And than it turns back on a few minutes later.

Is anyone experiencing any of the above?

I currently have to use my other phone just for alarms until I get this glitch under control. Which I'd like to.

Our is this just an Android thing with the alarm being treated like any other app? And eventually system process kills the alarm app?
