Group message mms wont download

I have a galaxy s4 from straight talk on straight talk and just recently the group messaging started giving me trouble. Up until this point it has worked fine. Whenever I get a text in a group message (a regular text 1kb, not a picture.) It comes to me under the person's name not the group message, and has a button to download but when I click download it does not download or convert to the group message. I am using the stock messaging app and I have tried various others but they don't work either. I've tried turning off wifi, yes my mobile data is on, auto retrieve is on. But
like I said it just randomly stopped working which I don't understand. Thanks for any help!
