Help! Daughter's rooted lg ls885 only boots into Android System Recovery

(4:26:45 PM) James: Ok unplug the phone then remove the battery for lets say 30 seconds. Then reinsert the battery, leave the phone off don't touch the power button.

(4:28:25 PM) James: Not yet. Leave it disconnected, once that is done. Then hold volume up, don't let go and reconnect the phone while holding volume up. Once it shows firmware update let go.

(4:33:54 PM) James: If it's 4.4.2 there is a different one you can use or you could just update the device
