Well, given that it's not a widely-known device then you won't have a lot of avenues of help available to you should you root it and have something go wrong.
I can't stress enough how many hundreds (if not thousands) of posts I've seen from folks who rooted their device, had something go wrong (removed or changed the wrong file, etc.) and ended-up with a boot-loop or soft-brick--with no one to turn to to get help for fixing their device.
If you don't know for sure that you have a way (and support) to flash / restore your device back to stock, then I would say do NOT root your device--unless you are prepared to have a non-functioning phone without any means to fix it.
