Keeps asking for data transfer

What phone and what OS version? I ask because I've never seen such a message and certainly use more that 75% of the space, so assuming it's a system message and not some stupid app it's one that's been added by the manufacturer rather than being part of the base Android OS.

What form does the message take: an actual pop-up or something in the notification area? If there is a copy of it in the notification area, long press on that and use the context menu that comes up to find out what app is producing it.

And finally, how much internal space do you have (total/free)? "25%" doesn't mean anything special, but the device does need to keep some internal storage free as working space (usually around 200MB but sometimes a bit more - depends how it is set up. With early devices it was usually 10%).
