Moto X cracked screen repair

I wanted to see if anyone has repaired the screen on on a Moto X - XT1060 before?

I have seen countless videos on how to do it and have some experience replacing screens but always bought the screen and digitizer as one whole piece. I don't need the digitizer this time.
I plan on buying just the glass screen and repairing it.

After dropping my poor phone a million times, it finally had enough lol. If i can repair it pretty easily, i will donate it to someone in need locally.

Any tips & or glues used would be appreciated.
