Swap Carriers oddity

So I recent switched from ATT to Sprint using a buy out offer and cut my bill in half. I was having troubles with coverage from ATT. I know this isn't android related but I wanted to know if this happened to anyone else before.

So the policy was I sent them my final bill and they paid my installments off in full which they did via sending me two AMEX cards. I paid off ATT and then waited for return kits for my ATT phones to go to sprint. This is where it gets weird. I paid off ATT over 2 weeks ago... I switched in September... I never received return kits so I called Sprint and they said they have my phones logged as returned and I have no further Action. I told them I never returned my phones and they said "well we are showing you did so there's nothing left for you to do".... I called twice and got the same answer ... Now I have an IPhone 6 Plus and LG G4 just sitting on my counter. I even checked their IMEI and they are clean... What am I supposed to do since sprint doesn't want to send me return kits for phones they say they already have?
