Bought GTA SA for my phone, loved it, but there's one MAJOR problem

So I bought GTA San Andreas for my phone a few weeks ago and loved it as it brought alot of memories back again. But there is one major issue that is making me very angry. Whenever I really reach far in the game, there comes a point when all the icons on the map (missions,key places etc.) just disappear and I have to start the game all over again. The same thing happened again today for like, the 5th time since I bought the game. Now I don't wanna start all over again because it takes alot of time. So would anyone please give me a solution to this problem I'm stuck ! Any help will appreciated
