Office Suite Pro Sd card access in Lollipop

On my Galaxy S 10.5 I am trying to get my Office Suite Pro files read and saved on my SD card.

Using a pc I have created a folder in the SD Card root "Office Suite Docs" I have added spreadsheet files to that folder. OfficeSuitePro will only opwn that file as read only so will not let edit and save changes.

I open Settings in OfficeSuitePro and select My Documents folder
Cancel that and back to My Documents dialog. Try to overwrite the path with "Sd card/Office Suite Docs" told folder does not exist Create folder? tap Yes then go round in circles as I am back to my dialog. Sometimes I am told card is unmounted. It is not other apps using it.

BTW - Would be better if the dialog had a browse function to the required path.

Any clear set of instructions on exactly how to get access to this SD card please?
